Tammy informs viewers about candidates running in the upcoming Manchester Primary Elections happening next Tuesday (9/17/19), and we discuss why affordable housing is so hard to find. (Hint: Big Gov makes it so!)
This week we discuss out-of-state interests pushing for gun control, Governor Sununu’s recent vetoes including three “red flags” laws, and more! Interested in learning more about the destructive policies from Seattle we mention? Catch my podcast, Told You So, about the subject: Seattle is Dying; Is Manchester Next?
Was looking for something on the Tubes and ran across this Dave Ridley interview at Taproom Tuesday in 2008, soon after we moved to NH . My favorite parts are… too many to mention! D’aaaaw, Younger Me Who Is Still Figuring Stuff Out. You go, Queenie!
This week, Tammy and Carla discuss Manchester employees’ salaries and pensions, and how these rising costs are unsustainable and will drown us under a tsunami of ever increasing taxes and fees. This Union Leader article was the one Tammy references near the start: “Eviction, arrest at the hands of Manchester police-officer landlord”.
In this episode, Carla and Tammy talk trash. Literally. They also discuss climate change, how to stop a Nazi from beating his girlfriend to death, and more!
I joined Jack Kenny for a heated discussion about the 24/7 Orwellian police surveillance cameras being proposed for downtown Manchester. I stick to my guns that the cameras are symptomatic of government overreach that will ultimately lead to a dystopian future, and Jack takes the “security over liberty” position, and even trots out the Nazi quote from Minister of Propaganda Goebbels himself: “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.”
While we are on the subject, read Edward Snowden’s take on why privacy is such an important right. And consider this Computer Weekly article, “Debunking a myth: If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.”
This week, Tammy and I discuss the upcoming Fall City elections, and how to stay cool when it’s hot, hot, hot.
Tammy and Carla chat about the recent hearing about downtown police surveillance cameras, summer in the City, kayaking from Goffstown to the West Side ice arena, and more.
